PlayFootball is a brand with a passionate aim: to get Britain playing football. They are committed to the idea of participation-helping people stay active, playing football more often and for longer in their lives. They have raised the bar at their own purpose built small sided football venues with “best in class” facilities, products and services.

They make it easier for people to play football, whoever they are and wherever they are by adopting a flexible approach to their operating and venue models.

Their website needed a total overhaul as their business expands and they now have 18 centres across the UK and (luckily for dpc), they awarded the project to us.

The website has two focuses:

The most important element was attracting new players and teams and making sign-up or enquiring as easy as possible.

The secondary element was to allow existing teams and players easy and quick access to their leagues and fixture list in the players lounge.

As the site has an extraordinary high level of mobile traffic the site has been built on a fully responsive framework so the user experience is as slick on the smallest device right up to the largest screen.

The PlayFootball team were keen to use large format images on every page to emphasise the quality and scale of their centres, so dpc organised a number of photoshoots at their centres over the summer to capture the spirit and essence of PlayFootball.

The result is an awesome site, that allows the user to select a centre and explore the available facilities
